Whitsundays, Australia:

Australia is like a country custom made for ocean lovers, with almost a 50,000-kilometer-long coastline and more than 8000 islands. This country has some of the most scenic beaches and breathtaking waters to enjoy.

Whitsundays is a range of 74 islands, most of which are uninhabited. It is an excellent destination for anyone who enjoys living near the ocean.  You can take a boat to the mainland of Airlie Beach, which is a well-developed beach, with multiple 3-star and 5-star hotels and resorts to stay at.

The Whitsundays is located at an incredible location; on one side, they have the Great Barrier Reef while the tropical northeast coast of Queensland is on the other. The coral reef in Whitsundays is a great place for deep water diving and face-to-face with the region’s incredible marine life. Moreover, Whitehaven beach is among the best places to visit on the Whitsundays.

Ocean in Belize:

If you don’t already know how incredible an ocean destination Belize is, you need to do some research on the internet. Being onshore in this mind-blowing Central American country is a wonderful experience; it has a fascinating Mayan history. The food is fantastic, and the culture is very lively. However, the best thing about Belize is the ocean.

Diving into the ocean is an otherworldly experience. The region has incredible biodiversity. You can see sharks, turtles, corals, and so many different fish species that you will be pleasantly surprised. Hol Chan is an excellent diving spot, where you can also see stingrays.

If you want a relaxing and chill vacation, Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye are perfect destinations; however, either of them could be your basecamp for an expedition into the oceans of Belize. One of the ocean spots in Belize that stands out among the rest is the Great Blue Hole, and it is exactly what the name insinuates.

It is a 125 meters deep hole in the middle of the ocean, and flying above it can be a mesmerizing experience. However, if you are more daring, you can go scuba diving down this incredible hole, which will be an unparalleled experience.

Fogo Island, Canada:

Fogo Island is the biggest offshore island in Newfoundland, and there is a lot to do here for an ocean Lover. There are several amazing cliffs to hike on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. If you visit between June and October, you will also be able to do some whale watching and sea bird spotting near Fogo island. Therefore, look for some first focal plane scopes, and get one that is ideal for marine use.

There are several icebergs in the middle of the ocean, and the water is, of course, freezing. So, you probably aren’t going to go for a swim. Freezing Canada probably isn’t the first place you think of when you want to visit an ocean destination, but trust me, it is a unique and different spot that every ocean lover should experience.

The summer is the ideal time to visit this location because it can get freezing in the winter; however, the views are quite majestic if you’re daring enough.

Lofoten Islands, Norway:

Norway is an incredible country, and if you want to visit an ocean destination that is a little different from the rest, you should consider the Lofoten Islands in Norway. It is an excellent spot to experience the colder northern waters and has exciting experiences like whale watching and scuba diving.

The summer is a great time to visit, with pleasant temperatures averaging 12-15°C. The Lofoten’s hillsides are green and luscious, which makes for breathtaking scenery.

Norway is also popular for being one of the few countries where the sun doesn’t set. If you visit the Lofoten Islands during June, you will experience this incredible and fascinating phenomenon.

If you want to be adventurous, you can also go surfing at Unstad, which is the home of the northernmost surfing school in the world. Otherwise, you can also soak your feet in the chilly turquoise waters and enjoy the Lofoten Islands’ incredible mountain views. Moreover, if you visit during autumn, you can also see the northern lights from here.

Koh Chang Island, Thailand:

The incredible white sand beaches are surrounded by emerald green waters and have lush green tropical jungles inwards. There are seven impressive waterfalls scattered around the island. Overall, Koh Chang Island is one of the most incredible locations in Thailand and the world.

There are several smaller islands around Koh Chang Island that you can visit, and great water activities that you can participate in, like kayaking and scuba diving.

Ramla Lhamra, Gozo, Malta:

For our next ocean destination, we are headed to the Mediterranean. Ramla Lhamra is a beach on Gozo Island, which is only a 30-minute ferry ride away from Malta’s coast. The golden-red sand of this beach gives it a distinct appearance, and when it is paired with the incredible waters, it makes for one of the most amazing beaches in the world.
