So, in the end choosing the perfect diving watch is all up to personal need and preference.

Invicta Men's 8926OB Pro Diver Review

Invictus models appear on almost every list and diving watch forum out there. Invictus is Latin for ‘Invincible’, and This company makes high quality diving watches that don’t cost enough to burn a giant hole in anyone’s bank account. This ‘Invicta’ model is made of stainless steal and features a 44mm clock face. It is powered by japanese automatic movement, with a system named ‘NH35A Automatic movement’, and it also features a ‘peephole’ of sorts on the back of the main face to peer inside at the watches mechanics, giving a glimpse of the intricacies and inner workings of this system.

One thing to note is that watches such as this Invictus model, which run on an automatic internal system, do not rely on batteries for power, but on kinetic motion/energy. So even just the swinging of and arm while walking will keep these diving watches powered enough for a successful and safe dive.

Not only stylish and practical for every day wear, this ‘Invicta Men’s 8926OB Pro Diver’ model is water resistant to 660 feet or 200 meters. And while this watch is made of high quality mechanics and materials, it has a very low end price.

Gigandet Men's Automatic Diver Watch Review

The ‘Gigandet Men’s Automatic Diver Watch’ is the perfect watch for the advanced, or more adventurous male diver. With a water resistance up to 1000 feet, or 300 meters, and a water pressure capacity up to 30 bars, this divers watch was formulated for the passionate scuba diver in mind.

This diving watch model from ‘Gigandet’ is made of stainless steel, and is powered by automatic movement, so one never needs to worry about it running out of power or breaking during an extreme dive. The diameter of this model is 44mm and features a magnified date area and reviews state that it is easy to read, and the luminescence inside works great while in light starved waters.

This model is a two tone contrasting watch, to not only add style to this piece of diving equipment, but makes it stand out among the sea of silver stainless steal watches on the market. This ‘Gigandet Men’s Automatic Diver Watch’ is also understated enough o wear with a suit to work or even on the weekends in just jeans and a t shirt.

This is another diving watch on the lower end of the price spectrum, though it doesn’t skimp on quality.

This Dive watch made by the company “Luminox’ Was designed to exude power and confidence to the wearer. Inspired by watches used by the Navy seals, this large, and intimidating model of dive watch holds many positive reviews and fans. This model is prized for its durability and stamina, and Luminox actually designs watches for the United States Navy and air force, reinforcing their high quality engineering and reliability.

Luminox is a unique company who has an innovative process for putting the luminescence in their diving watches. Unlike many companies that use a sort of radioactive or light charged paint, Luminox system is a bit more complex.

According to the Luminox , “Each Luminox watch employs tiny self-powered micro gas lights (borosilicate glass capsules), which are firmly embedded in the hands and the hour indicators on the watch face (as well as on the turning ring of diver's watches). Luminox watches need no external light source to "charge" the paint on the dial or hands in order to glow as do conventional luminous watches, nor do they require a push of a button to light the dial as do electro luminescent watches.”

So not only are these watches affordable, but they are innovative, and hold up to wear to tear. And a favorite of the United States Military. This is a bit pricier than the others on the list, but that still only sets this model from ‘Luminox’ on the middle range of prices when it comes to high quality diving watches. Prices may also fluctuate.

The final watch on this list is a high end luxury model with a steep price tag. But even though the price may be mostly paying for the opportunity to wear the brand name ‘Omega’ this watch receives high scores and reviews from both amateur and professional divers. Made form stainless steel, the ‘Omega Planet Ocean Chronograph’ divers watch features a 45.5mm unidirectional rotating bezel, with a vibrant orange color making it visible under the water while diving.

Its movement is powered by a swiss automatic system, so no need to ever have to worry about charging this ‘Omega’ model or replacing any kind of batteries. The bezel is made from sapphire crystal and is scratch resistant and according to multiple reviews, this watch last for years and can take a beating with minimal, if any, damage to the main face.

The ‘Omega Planet Ocean Chronograph’ boasts an impressive water resistance. While many diving watches are only able to withstand up to 600 to 1000 feet of depth, this ‘Omega’ model is resistant to an impressive 2000 feet or 600 meters, which is farther than what most divers ever descend. So, any sort of water leakage or danger is completely out of the question with the ‘Omega Planet Ocean Chronograph’ model.

With its durable design, impressive water resiliency, and its sleek design, this luxury diving watch is a smart investment if one wanted to take up diving professionally or was an avid diver already. This ‘Omega’ model can be found on various selling platforms, including ‘Omega’s’ personal website.
